I think it falls off in Steel Path archwing as its damage doesn't keep up. For that reason, the Fluctus is incredibly good in regular archwing missions. In normal archwing missions you want AoE, which the Grattler has. Fact is most people dont play archwing, and were incorrectly transferring their (or maybe community/youtuber/streamer) ground archgun knowledge to space. For ground it's fine, but everywhere else I think it's vastly overrated. The imperator Vandal is/was good in two places: ground and early railjack. I think you've correctly identified its weakness in the small magazine. Grattler is decent in normal archwing missions. Thanks for any help! I have been trying to find anything online saying whether Grattler is a decent gun even in the archwing meta, but I can't find much about it at all, or much about suggested builds (at least from recently). If I need others I don't have, I can acquire them easily enough, that's not an issue.

If so, why would you choose that archgun, and what builds would you suggest both for general archwing play and for Profit Taker? I have a maxed Primed Rubedo Lined Barrel and a good chunk of the ranged mods already. So my question is, if you already had Grattler to 30, based on how easy it is too level and if the archgun cooldown efficiency slows down leveling or not (I'm not sure), as well as how good the Imperator Vandal is (as I keep seeing it's name pop up in discussions of good archguns but don't see the Grattler), which one would you choose to forma up all the way if you were only going to do one (at least for quite some time, I might forma the other far in the future). So I really don't want to do it twice, I want to pick one. However, I have already got it to 30 once, and I know I am going to need to forma any archgun I seriously want to use at least 4-5 times.
